The Moonglow Pear Tree is an upright vigorous tree with large fruit that is soft and juicy with low acid. Mild flavor; smooth texture with low "grit." Excellent for fresh juice or canning. Store well and has a mid harvest season. The tree is blight resistant.

Planting another variety nearby or grafting a branch of a second variety onto your tree is the best way to ensure that the bees will transfer the pollen to the "Moonglow" tree's blossoms.
