Perennial, 8”, full sun Compact, upright growing sub-shrub. It makes an excellent ground cover. It likes lots of sun and is drought tolerant. It produces medium sized medium-pink flowers which attract butterflies.
(Thymus vulgaris) – This “Summer Thyme” is one of the most flavorful of all the thyme varieties. Its is noticeably sweeter and spicier than English types and is the preferred variety used in authentic French cuisine. Used in all types of cooking and grows well in pots or in the garden. Needs some winter protection.
Compact, upright selection with tiny, deep green, aromatic leaves. Dainty, pale pink flowers are an added bonus. Attracts bees to the garden.
HOW TO USE: Makes a wonderfully fragrant groundcover or container plant. Dried leaves may be used to flavor poultry, fish, meat and vegetables.
